Pizza is amazing (at least in my opinion), perfect for a dinner with friends or a dinner date. You can make it fast-food style or fancy, depending on occasion. It's very simple to make a homemade dough, and it actually made me stop buying pre-made dough or frozen pizza (okay, we still buy it few times a year as a lazy day dinner).
This recipe is for a fast pizza dough, proving time is between 45-60 minutes and then it's ready to be turned into a pizza and baked. Recipe doesn't require a mixer, just a bowl and your hands.

Ingredients :
500 g strong white flour
1 sachet of dried yeast (7 g)
1 tsp fine sea salt
300 ml warm water (50/50 hot and cold)
2 tbsp olive oil + 1 tbsp to drizzle over the dough
Recipe is for two medium sized pizzas.
Method :
1. Place the flour, yeast and salt in a mixing bowl. Whisk it to distribute the yeast evenly.
2. Prepare warm water in a bowl/jug and add olive oil to it. Pour the liquids into the dry ingredients and mix them with a spoon, until it becomes a crumbly looking dough.
3. Place the dough on the counter and knead it for about 7 minutes, it should come together into a beautiful ball of dough. If you are using stand mixer, knead it with a hook attachment for 5 minutes.
4. Place the kneaded dough in the bowl and drizzle some olive oil over it. Cover the bowl with cling film and place in a warm place, let it prove for 45-60 minutes or until it doubles in size.
5. When the dough is ready, it's time to make your favourite pizza! I usually make two pizzas out of this dough and bake it with the toppings in 250'C (fan) for 12-15 minutes.

Enjoy!
